Small Business Spark: Human Resources

The Jenks Chamber of Commerce will continue its Small Business Spark Series on Tuesday, June 28 at noon.

Featured speaker Jeff Faust, Human Resources Manager for Barracuda Staffing, will present “The Importance of Human Resources for Your Business.”

Takeaways will include how to protect your business and how to implement HR policies and practices into your business.

Faust has been in the Human Resources field since graduating from The University of Oklahoma in 1998.  He works in most areas of Human Resources, including  recruiting, payroll, benefit design, compensation, employee relations (EEO investigations), and formation of policies and procedures (handbooks).

In addition to daily HR management, Faust has developed and lead training sessions for management teams related to performance management, effective employee coaching, diversity and inclusion, sexual harassment/discrimination, and interviewing techniques.  

The Small Business Success Series is sponsored by Tedford Insurance.

Cost to attend is $20 for members and $30 for non-members, with lunch included in the cost of registration.

The registration deadline is Friday, June 24 by 5 p.m.
